The ruins of the Old World are not free of its influence. Radiation, pollution and war have stripped the Earth bare and left the remnants of humanity struggling to survive. Samuel has spent his entire life paying for the sins of his ancestors. Now his village is cursed by yet another technological leftover and the target of a furious group of bandits.
He has one day to find shelter for the villagers; one day to earn the trust of the forest goblins; one day to slay the Forest King – whoever or whatever that may be. In order to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the Old World, the mysterious system that calls itself Heirloom Online and his childhood dreams of becoming a Knight.
